LG and Google Release the LG Watch Sport

The LG Watch Sport is setting the standard for wearable devices. Sleek, stylish, and sporty is what you get when you first look at the LG Watch Sport.

LG and Google released two smartwatches on February 8th, the LG Watch Style and the LG Watch Sport. The Sport is what we will focus on in this post.

The LG Watch Sport is a looker from a distance, and I do not necessarily mean that in a good way. This watch is huge! Coming in at a whopping 14.2 mm, take a look below at the size comparison.

LG made sure to utilize this space by putting in LTE mobile radios, Near Field Communication (NFC), stand-alone GPS, and PPG Heart Rate Sensor.

The LG Watch Sport is also the first watch to debuted the new Android Wear 2.0 release. Which includes a hardware feature a la  the Apple Watch crown. Android Wear 2.0 doesn't get rid of touch navigation, but it is merely adding another option to help users quickly and intuitively navigate the watch.

Beyond everything else, the LG Watch Sport will start at $349 and go on sale February 10th. It's an exciting time in the wearable market as we enter 2017 from a quite wearable year in 2016.
