LG G6 Coming to the US in April

2017 is off to a furious start with many rumors and device launches filling the quarter one scenery. The LG G6 is slated to be one of the most interesting phones of the year. And thanks to known tech leaker Evan Blass also known as @evleaks, we now know that the LG G6 could be released in the US on April 7th.

The LG G6 will likely come with equipped with the standard array of equipment including, a Snapdragon 821 CPU, 5.7 inch display, and water resistance.

This invite to the February 26th event from LG is promoting two things. LG is obviously hitting the screen size, but more importantly the idea of a bezel-less display. Big displays are great for viewing media, but when it comes to actually using them in day to day usage that's a different story. By making the screen without bezels the bigger screen becomes much more usable. This is an important trend that we will be seeing from the major manufactures through 2017.

With the year of bezel-less smartphones will we also see the first flexible and unbreakable display from LG or Samsung? 2017 is shaping up to be an innovative year, keep your eyes on the blog for a possible state of innovation series, over each major phone manufacturer.
